Our manufacturing tradition dates back to the mid-19th century.

1836
The first records of the Uvodskaya Manufactory and its founder, Nikon Nikolaevich Fokin, date back to 1836. According to A Brief Overview of Industry in the Nizhny Novgorod and Shuya-Ivanovo Railway Region: “Initially, a small enterprise relied entirely on manual labour and a very limited number of external workers.” By 1850, Fokin himself reported operating 60 printing tables, marking the factory’s growth and ambition.
1874
In 1874, Nikon Nikolaevich modernised production by installing the latest British equipment for fabric manufacturing and finishing. This bold step established him as one of the region’s leading industrialists and transformed the factory into one of the largest textile producers in the area, achieving impressive annual turnover despite its modest size.

Throughout the first half of the 20th century, the factory specialised in manufacturing and dyeing cotton and linen fabrics, earning a reputation for quality and reliability.

1952
In 1952, following a major reconstruction, the company shifted its focus entirely, launching production of new product lines: paper cores (spools), cardboard reels, and sliver cans for textile machinery and the broader textile industry. Remarkably, all machinery and automated production lines for these paper products were designed and developed in-house by our own engineering team.
2001
Since 2001, the company has undergone another wave of technical modernisation. It has acquired cutting-edge equipment from the UK, France, Germany, and China to manufacture spiral-wound cylinders of various diameters, meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
2008
In 2008, during a period of modernisation, the company reached a new level of excellence, expanding its product range and increasing its production capacity.
2020
In 2020, despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic and economic uncertainty, the company maintained its production volumes and successfully adapted to new market conditions, further solidifying its reputation as a reliable partner.
